Preview of What Nigeria’s UN and USAID Visitors Must Know – Part 1

Ambassador Mark Green, heads the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) He will be in Nigeria to assess the Agency’s performance and review its accountability standards in Nigeria.

Secondly, in her capacity as the Special Rapporteur Of the United Nations on “Summary, Arbitrary and Extra-judicial Killings & Executions” Dr Agnès Callamard, will be undertaking a roughly two-week mission to Nigeria.

These two diplomatic visits provide Nigerians with the unique and timely opportunity to open up discussions and engagements, with The United Nations and the USA Government, with the serious predicaments of Nigeria.

This Press Statement provides some guidance and insight into what the two visitors must take back home with them, in addition to the findings from their specific visit mission.
