Premier League champions, Manchester City have confirmed that forward, Raheem Sterling will miss Sunday’s Premier League clash against West Ham United due to injury.
Pep Guardiola’s side made this known in a tweet on their official Twitter page on Thursday.
Sterling sustained a hamstring injury during Man City’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last weekend.
“Raheem Sterling will miss Man City’s clash against West Ham this weekend after scans revealed he has suffered damage to his left hamstring.
“Everyone at City wishes Sterling a full and speedy recovery,” they tweeted.
Sterling has scored 20 goals in 35 appearances for Man City this campaign.
