Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has reacted to the suspension of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The Governor declared Wednesday 4th of March 2020 as a great day for the people of the state.

DAILY POST reported earlier that an Abuja High Court suspended Oshiomhole, ordering him to step down pending the determination of the substantive suit seeking his removal as the APC chairman.

Justice Danlami Senchi gave the ruling in an application of interlocutory injunction following his suspension as a member of the APC from Etsako ward 10 in Edo State.

Obaseki spoke at the party’s rally held at Urokpota ground, Benin.

He said the court’s decision would provide the needed atmosphere for peace in the State chapter.

The Governor said this further proved that no man is God, adding, “Today is a great day for us in the party. The Abuja High Court has just asked the national chairman of the party to step aside.”

“I believed this will further create the atmosphere for peace in the state.

“This has further shown to us that no man is God,” he said.
