American electronics manufacturing firm, GatesAir has concluded its partnership deal with a Nigerian company, Pinnacle Communications to penetrate the Nigerian digital TV market.
The firm, which produces wireless and over-the-air content delivery solutions for radio and TV broadcasters, will be using the partnership to expand its new digital TV services and the digital switchover initiative which is expected to reach more than 50 million homes and 170 million residents in Nigeria.
This is not the first time that GatesAir is in business with Pinnacle Communications as the companies have had a long-standing relationship since 1998 when they launched TV and FM radio systems across Nigeria.

top–notch quality as there was no need for site testing.
“Sometime in 2016, we had 12 weeks to deliver a station. All the transmitters were from here. We didn’t do any site testing. We just plugged them in, and they’re still on.”
On his part, the Managing Director of GatesAir, Andy McClelland reiterated the company’s commitment to partner with Pinnacle in the future, stating that GatesAir had been on the digital path with Pinnacle for a short time but will be on it for years to come.
Last month, GatesAir welcomed Pinnacle’s executive team to its Quincy, Illinois manufacturing center to have an overview
